Once Upon a Time...

...there were two little girls - two dear little girls - who...

...were invited to a tea party.

So they pulled on their gloves...

...and stepped into their carriage (the horseless variety) and - and - drank tea happily ever after.

"Then [Mary] took a long breath and looked behind her up the long walk to see if anyone was coming. No one was coming. No one ever did come, it seemed, and she took another long breath, because she could not help it, and she held back the swinging curtain of ivy and pushed back the door which opened slowly -- slowly.... She was standing inside the secret garden."

- Francess Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden

Mary, Mary, quite contrary.
